Responsibilities and Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, front end loaders
- Follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Communicate with the team on the jobsite to keep them safe and complete work correctly.
- Perform daily checks on equipment to ensure proper operating condition.
- Cooperate with others in a team environment.
- Accept direction from supervisors.
- Work in inclement weather; Lift, push, pull in excess of 50 lbs.
Qualifications and Skills
- 2 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator on heavy civil projects preferred.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment and their uses
- A team player who works well with others
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and creativity required.
- Must be self-motivated, calm under pressure, and consistently able to meet deadlines.
